The last few weeks
The last few weeks of the year always have something special. There is always a mix of emotions. On the one hand, you don’t want to do anything else for school. But on the other hand you also want good grades. You want to enjoy every ray of sunshine, but you also want to pass all your subjects. But is that possible?
Deadlines and deadlines
It is not easy to obtain passing grades when it is sunny during the week. You sit at your desk and look outside. “If only I were on the beach.” But unfortunately you don’t get away with it so easily. You still have half a block to do – the block with all the exams and deadlines. Actually, the last subjects are the most important to pass. Going on summer holiday having passed everything just feels so much better.
No goofing off for me
The worst thing is if your friends are already on holiday. They party all night while you are trying to get to sleep at 11 o’clock. Snapchats of your mates chilling on the beach with ice cold beers in their hands. When they ask me to go with them, it pains me in my heart to say that I have to study. This is probably the most difficult thing in the world.
It’s worth it
Drawn curtains and living like a hermit works best for me. It will all be worth it when you get those big juicy grades. The good life can start. A seven here, a five and a half there. Maybe one that has be taken again. But that’s for later. Most of the marks are in and the party can start!
